The event they could not kill!!!   The London Steampunk Sizzler has risen from the dead and will be going ahead after all at the Bethnall Green Working Men's Club.   More details will be posted up here on Sunday evening.  Tickets are back on sale.  It is costing us more to stage the event so please encourage your friends to attend.  After all this it will certainly be an amazing night.

 A chance to socialise and mix with other steampunks or learn more about the scene and genre. Look out for selected artisans who will be offering their wares, steampunk goodies and accessories for your perusal.

We are extremely sorry to have to announce that we are being forced to cancel this event.  The brewery has decided at short notice to evict the Landlady and close the venue.  We paid our deposit months ago and no mention was ever made that the future of the venue was in jeopardy.  We are (as you may understand) more than a little upset by this.  We have tried frantically to secure another venue but at such short notice it has proven impossible.  Once again had we known a little earlier about this we might have stood a chance.  It is difficult to express quite how fed up and sorry we are about having to do this.  We apologise to everyone who made plans to attend.  It is an extreme disappointment for us.

We will be refunding all ticket sales over the next few days.  Please bear with us as we do this since although the system automates the sales any refunds have to be done individually and manually.

Sincere apologies once again.

Some of us will be at a loose end that weekend so are looking at the possibility of an impromptu gathering or flashmob in London.  (Kew Bridge Steam Museum is steaming on Sunday too.)  Please keep an eye on Brassgoggles and Facebook for an alternative, less formal, gathering.

Steampunk returns to the Cross Kings in Kings Cross for a night of music and entertainment.  Our last event there was a total sellout and you will not want to miss the Summer Sizzler which promises to be another amazing night.

Doors open at seven.  In the downstairs bar we will have steampunk traders offering their notions and fancies for your delectation.  This area will remain as a quieter area for socialising and chatting. 

Upstairs on the main stage you can look forward to some of the best steampunk sounds with Ghostfire, Sunday Driver and Savile Row.

Dress to impress for a night which is not to be missed.
